Founded by Dr. Sanam Hafeez, Comprehend the Mind is the leading provider of neuropsychological assessments and evaluations in New York City.
Located in Forest Hills, New York, CtM is a group of licensed, doctoral-level neuropsychologists with decades of experience in working with children and adults. We boast an impressive number of instruments and tests to assess cognitive, academic, neurological, and psychiatric domains.
Neuropsychological testing is notoriously expensive and, often, unaffordable. Both children and adults are dealing with novel challenges, in our private and larger worlds, that have changed considerably in the last few years.

Dr. Sanam Hafeez

FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
Dr. Sanam Hafeez is a pioneer in neuropsychological assessments, reshaping its clinical model and best practices. She sought to deliver answers to her patients and, in doing so, eliminated the rigid, one-size-fits-all approach. An expert in trauma, learning problems, ADHD and autism, she found that there was often an overlap and misdiagnosis because older models neglected the psychiatric components. Over the past two decades, she has brought together highly skilled professionals to deliver superior neuropsychological evaluations and literally change lives for countless, thankful patients over two decades.
