Madad means ‘help’ in Urdu.
Our mission is to support and empower minority, underserved communities to strengthen their mental health and well-being so they can flourish. We want to support the bilingual Autistic child receive the right special education services in school because his parents cannot advocate for him, the battered woman have a legal voice because she cannot afford a forensic psychologist, and therapy for children and families from immigrant, impoverished backgrounds trying to make New York City their home, like all of us.
